0

The history of ABNER dates back to the 1880s, when a silversmith workshop was established, producing trays, powder cases, cigarette cases, and tins. The later development of silver cutlery production is closely associated with the name BIBUS. During World War II, all production was redirected to supplying aircraft components for the company METALBAU.

After the end of World War II, there was a “forced” change of ownership, with the merging of local workshops by the national administration and the incorporation of the resulting entity into the state enterprise SANDRIK. Silversmith production was gradually phased out in favor of stainless steel materials for cutlery manufacturing.
