Electric activation system for AF12 isothermal container.

For military sector – colour Military Green.

The Active Door features a convection heating unit that compensates for the natural heat loss in the transported meals, thus indefinitely extending the temperature retention times for hot meals.
Mono-block structure, no sharp edges, joints and welds.
Insulated with CFC and HCFC-free polyurethane foam.
Especially indicated:
– to extend food storage time safely in case of postponed service
– when the isothermal container is not used at full capacity;
– in case of multiple-drop deliveries.
The Active Door is designed to evenly and progressively distribute the heat throughout the container’s interior; this system prevents spot overheating and overcooking, protecting the taste and the nutrients of foods.
Specifically for use in combination with the AF12 container and AF12 Modular System.
It assures proper heat retention, limiting the risk of bacterial proliferation whilst preserving food quality and organoleptic characteristics.
The isothermal characteristics comply with current regulations (EC Reg. 852/2004 –HACCP-) and with applicable technical standards (EN12571 and Accord AFNOR AC D40-007).
Manufactured using the rotational moulding technology, allowing production of very sturdy objects without sharp edges, joints or welds, whilst assuring highly efficient temperature retention.
Designed to be long lasting: performance remains basically unaltered when reused.
The Active Door is not designed to heat the foods, rather it should be used to maintain the meals at the correct temperature. We recommend, therefore, to load the container with food at a minimum temperature of 75 °C.
Version with digital thermostat, which allows programming the temperature inside of the container and monitoring it throughout the transport.
Available, upon request, an “Inverter” device to connect the Active Door to the vehicle’s cigarette lighter, allowing power supply during transport.

Door and container guaranteed for use: from -30 °C to +100 °C.
